This tutorial enables you to hide the entire site header including the site title or logo and nav menu on the front page only. Once the user scrolls down, the site header is then fully visible.
Only the front page is affected and the header on all other pages remains fixed by default.

The video demonstration shows the header on the front page hidden until the user scrolls down a specific amount of pixels ( in this case 100 ) which you can easily modify to any other amount.
