Monochrome Pro – Add Featured or Hero Image After Header On Single Pages Using ACF

This download folder includes the files which enable you to show a featured or custom image added using ACF, after the header on single pages in the same style as displayed on single posts like this :

If ACF is inactive, the featured image or previously uploaded image will show.

Shows a unique image added after the header using the ACF image upload field.

Also shows the image continues to display when the ACF plugin is deactivated otherwise the featured image displays if added.

Code Installation #

There’s 3 steps :

Step 1 – Create a new ACF field using the following settings or Install ACF and import the .json file from the download folder.

Step 2 – Upload the file named featured.php to the Monochrome Pro themes root directory.
