The solution in this download folder enables you to change the order of the front page widget areas on smaller screens.
You can also display the primary sidebar widget area before the content as you can see in the following screenshot :
In the above example, the home bottom widget area is displayed 1st, the home middle widgets 2nd and the home top widget 3rd.
