Rotate Widget Background Images Using Backstretch

This code modification enables you to rotate background images which use backstretch. Many StudioPress & Genesis child themes use the jQuery script to add a background image to widget areas. This simple tweak of the code enables you to add unlimited images to your child themes images folder and rotate them on page load.

And the solution isn’t limited to child themes running Genesis. You can use this solution in any WordPress theme.

Demo Video

The above demo video tests the solution on the Digital Pro child theme by StudioPress which already includes backstretch loaded in the front-page.php file.

This solution will work on StudioPress child themes like:

  • Agent Focused Pro
  • Agency Pro
  • Digital Pro
