Don’t Display Featured Image If Featured Image Not Added

This code modification in the Wellness Pro child theme by StudioPress, enables you to stop Genesis from using a image from within a post as the featured image when non is added via the featured image meta box.

This code will also work in any Genesis child theme which uses a image from within a post as the featured image when no featured image is added.

The tutorial has been written in response to this question from a member of the StudioPress community.

I’m using the Wellness Theme. If I don’t set a featured image on a page, the theme automatically picks an image from the page. I don’t want every page to have a featured image, how do I get the featured image removed.
