This plugin modifies the data which is sent to PayPal without affecting WooCommerce order details, order emails and Customer My Account details.
The only data which is affected is whats sent to PayPal and what they display under the Purchase details for completed activity in PayPal accounts.
It removes the product description completely and replaces the product name with the order id under the PayPal Purchase details section.
None of the WooCommerce order details are affected.
The plugin will not have any affect on Stripe transactions. To modify WooCommerce product names for stripe transactions so the product name sent to Stripe and displayed in their meta data is different, you’ll need a different solution.
Installation & Usage
- Install and activate the plugin for WooCommerce.
- Go to WooCommerce > PayPal Details and configure the settings.
Tested using PayPal Developers account on https://www.sandbox.paypal.com
