Auto Site Backup and Restore Offers Fast One Click Restore

Here’s another way to backup and restore your files and databases as well as get extra security for your WordPress site. More on the extra WordPress security at the end of the post.  There are many ways to do this as you’ll see in the related posts below and here’s another new tool offered by a big U.S based provider.

It won’t migrate your site to another server or domain like Backupbuddy does but it does offer auto backup of files and/or databases as well as some other handy features which include:

1. Automatic Backups
2. One Click Restore
3. Restore Databases & Tables
4. Recover Single or Multiple Files
5. Show Files that Changed

Daily manual backup of files and databases is not something that excites most people which is where site backup & restore comes in. All you do is schedule the files and databases you want backed up in cPanel and your done.

Site backup and Restore is included as part of a new Pro package which i have transferred to recently after trying VPS for a month which was $50 a month. The new Pro package with a different host is only about $20 a month and gives me 80% more resources.

I felt like i was being forced to upgrade to VPS after a while and then told a dedicated server was the only way to fix my site errors. The Pro package is a solution that is not only cheaper than VPS and dedicated server but also makes backup easier as well.

They also offer a site lock program for increased security which is hard to find for WordPress. This is a good little package that i’m sure some will consider rather than take the bait and go with VPS when it may not be needed.
