Beta Tester Plugin Makes It Easy To Try Any New WordPress Version

Ever wanted to try out the latest version of WordPress before its officially released?

Now you can by installing the WordPress Beta Tester plugin which gives you access to 2 versions of WordPress.

Important: before updating, please back up your database and files.

1. Point release nightlies – Stable Beta
2. Bleeding edge nightlies – Only use if experienced and already created db backup

Once you install the plugin, you will be using the latest beta version.

To update to the latest nightly build, you’ll need to go to Dashboard > Updates and click the Update Now button.

RC1 has just been released which means beta testing is officially finished and it won’t be long before version 3.4 of WordPress is officially released.
