Add Custom Div Container Before And Or / After Opening & Closing Div In Genesis

This code enables you to add a container before and after any existing hook or content. In this case it opens the div before the entry-content div and closes it before the same entry-content div as seen in the following screenshot :

Inspect Genesis HTML

The code enables you to open the container before or after any existing genesis hook/div and close it before or after any existing genesis hook/div.

You can add the code to your child themes functions file and use a conditional tag to control which templates the code executes on or add it without the conditional tag directly to any template using the WordPress Template Hierarchy.
