The solutions in these 2 download folders provide 3 different methods which enable you to open external links in new windows without modifying the code in the core WooCommerce files.
Once you have added your external link to your Product Data > External/Affiliate product > General > Product URL, you can follow the installation guide and your single & archive product links on all page types will open in new windows as seen in the following demo videos.
