Instapress is a free plugin which enables you to display your Instagram images in WordPress.
You can also display another users images, your own media or any popular media feed.
This can be done within your posts/pages content area using shortcodes or in a widget area.
You’ll need to login to your Instagram account to connect the plugin with thier API using SSL.
You’ll also need to activate OpenSSL on your server to interact with the Instagram API. Contact your web host on how to do this if unsure.
Simply enter the username of the users images you want to display in your widget area after you have successfully configured the plugins main settings.
No doubt Instagram is very popular at the moment and the InstaPress plugin provides an easy way to pull them into your blog, especially if they’re not yours.
Another option is to use Jetpacks Carousel with the native WordPress gallery rather than a lightbox if you’re only wanting to display your own images.
You can then host them on your own server rather than someone else’s and display them in a really cool slideshow gallery that doesn’t need any real configuration.
