There’s lots of plugins which display popular posts in a widget area but what if you want to display posts with a thumbnail by certain criteria like:
- Taxonomy & Term
- Post Type
The flexible posts widget is a plugin which enables you to display posts by:
- Categories
- Tags
- Navigation Menu’s
- Link Categories
- Format
You can use this plugin to display pretty much whatever you like its so flexible.
The only problem with this plugin is that it doesn’t centre thumbnails and doesn’t offer a popular posts option.
You can display your posts randomly which is a good idea so your readers don’t get bored.
To display a thumbnail which each post title, simply add a featured image to each post and choose the size you want displayed.
