How To Integrate Gravity Forms Mailchimp Addon With WordPress

The Gravity Forms MailChimp Add-On allows you to integrate your forms with the MailChimp email marketing service.

Collect and add subscribers to your email marketing lists automatically when a form is submitted.

Also available for Aweber.

Seamless Integration – Automatically add subscribers to your email lists when a form is submitted.
Custom Fields – Populate MailChimp custom fields from form field data.
Opt-In – Control opt-in and only add subscribers when a certain condition is met.
Double Opt-In – Automatically send a double opt in message to ensure only legitimate subscribers are added.

First step is to add an check box to your existing form or create a new form and add it.

Mine looks like this but you can use anything you like.

Add Checkbox

This enables your readers to check the box in order to opt in rather than be added to your email list without knowing about it.

Best practice suggests you also enable a double opt in confirmation email as well.

Gravity Forms Settings

You’ll now need to enter your details to complete setup of the Gravity forms settings.

MailChimp Settings

Then you’ll need to configure the Mailchimp Settings.

You’ll find your Mailchimp API key under the Account tab in the Extras section.

MailChimp Settings

The next step to integrating your Gravity form with Mailchimp is to create a form.

In this tutorial we’ll use a standard contact form and hook it into Mailchimp so all users of the contact form can opt in to your newsletter or any other list you have created in your mailchimp account.

Under Forms in your admin panel click Mailchimp

Add New MailChimp Feeds

Simply configure the settings using your existing information in the next screen.

MailChimp Feed

You’ll need to have already created a list in Mailchimp and also have created a form. If not, complete these 2 requirements first so then you can map your form fields to your list fields in the above screen.

Note: The Gravity Forms Mailchimp Addon is only available to Business & Developer License Holders.
