Add Full Screen Slider To Home Widget 1 In Centric Pro

This solution enables you to use a slider like Soliloquy or any other slider as the background to the home-widgets-1 widget area in Centric Pro. Unlike this solution, it doesn’t require the use of jQuery to call the slider and only requires 3 simple steps to get working.

Demo Video

Shows the mobile responsiveness of the slider as well as the home widget 1 content and responsive menu on smaller screens.

Code Installation

There’s 3 steps after downloading the zip folder for logged in members :

Step 1 : Install the Soliloquy slider and create a slider using the following settings as a guide :

Step 2 : From the download folder, upload the front-page.php file to the Centric Pro child themes root directory overriding the default front page template. You’ll also need to swap out the slider id with the id of your slider in the code on line 62 of front-page.php.

Step 3 : From the download folder, copy the CSS from the style.css file and paste it at the end of the Centric Pro themes style.css file.
