Add Soliloquy Background Slider Using Backstretch In Centric Pro

The code in this tutorial enables you to use Backstretch to display the Soliloquy slider behind the 1st widget and header in Centric Pro like this :

Demo Video

Shows the soliloquy slider behind the home-widget-1 area in the Centric Pro child theme. Also demonstrates the responsiveness of the slider on smaller screens and how the mobile menu display when toggled on smaller screens.

Code Installation

There’s 4 steps after you download the zipped folder for logged in members :

Step 1 : Install the Soliloquy slider and create a slider using the following settings as a guide :

Step 2 : Upload the folder named slider to the Centric Pro themes root directory.

Step 3 : Copy and paste the PHP code from the functions.php file inside the slider folder to the end of the Centric Pro themes functions.php file. You’ll then need to swap out the slider id '3964' in the code with the id of your slider.

Example :

soliloquy( '3964' )

You can then delete the functions.php file from inside the slider folder.

Step 4 : Copy and paste the CSS from the style.css file inside the slider folder to the end of the Centric Pro themes style.css file. You can then delete the style.css file from inside the folder.

How would I do this for AgentPress Pro? I’ve tried the above, but the site-container falls below the slider instead of on top.

This tutorial might be better depending on where you want to position the slider.

Thanks. I think the other may work as well, I just need to make the site-header to be position: absolute. I’ll see which one will work best. THANKS.
