Digital Pro – Replace Front Page Widget Background Image With Slider

This tutorial enables you to add a slideshow of images to the background of any widget area using backstretch. Backstretch will dynamically resize your images to fit the entire widget background as the window size changes.

Note : This solution works for adding a slideshow to any widget background in any Genesis child theme.

You can use the code in this tutorial in any theme which already includes backstretch or add backstretch to any child theme which doesn’t.

To add the slideshow to any widget area simply change the widget i.d in the code from front-page-1 to the i.d of your widget.
