Genesis includes a custom field for Google Plus for each user profile located under the Contact Info section.
The field is added using this code in the genesis > lib > admin > user-meta.php file.
This post answers this question posted recently on the SP forums:
I’d like to remove the Google+ contact field from user profiles, and the Authorship code that is driven by this field. Anybody know how to remove this?
Remove Google Plus Field
Simply copy this PHP code from the view raw link in the Gist and paste it at the end of your child themes functions.php file using a code editor.
