Create New Folder On Your Server

Next step is to create a new file folder (directory)

You can use FTP or cPanel. Here’s how to do this in cPanel.

Create New Folder

Best to create the new folder so its located at yourdomain.com/jwplayer so name the folder jwplayer.

Upload Player ZIP folder

Upload the mediaplayer zip folder into your new jwplayer folder on your server

Extract Zip File

Extract the contents of the zip file into the new folder you named jwplayer

Extract Folder

Sometimes when you extract zip files, it will create another folder inside your jwplayer folder. If this happens, simply move the contents to the correct folder.

Another way to avoid this problem is to:

  1. upload the zip file to your server,
  2. extract the folder contents and
  3. rename the folder to jwplayer.
