Simple Hooks Plugin Enables Easy Customization of The Genesis Theme Framework

Hooks enable you to display html, text, php and shortcodes anywhere there’s a hook located in your theme. The only problem is you need to create a function in your theme’s files and understand php code to do this.

Another solution is to install a hooks plugin which already includes the code so all you have to do is:

  1. Decide which position on your site you want to display something
  2. Paste the HTML, short code or php code into the hook location box

The Genesis simple hooks plugin works only on the Genesis theme as it uses all the Genesis hooks and a few WordPress hooks as well.

Once you’ve downloaded and installed the Genesis simple hooks plugin, you can then customize your WordPress theme like a professional web designer. No coding skills required.

Other Themes offering simple hooks: The Thesis theme also offers a free hook plugin & the Canvas theme by Woo themes offers a built in Hook Manager.
