Full Width Featured Image After Header On Any Screen

This download folder the code which displays your featured image, or a default.jpg image when none added, after the header in the Genesis Sample child theme by StudioPress.

The image displayed full width regardless of how wide the screen or what type of device viewed on.

Also displays the entry title and post info centered over the image.

Note : You can use any layout option with this template however the default layout is set to content sidebar.

Demo Video

Shows the featured image or default.jpg displayed after the header when selected on single posts and pages. Displayed full width of any screen.

Tested using the Genesis Sample child theme by StudioPress however will work in most Genesis child themes without modification.

Installation Steps

There’s 2 steps –

# Step 1 – Upload the after-header folder & after-header.php file to your child theme folder like this :

# Step 2 – Copy & paste the CSS from the style.css file to the end of your child themes style sheet and clear caching.

You can then select the Template named After Header Image from the drop down menu in the Page or Post Attributes box on any Edit Post/Page screen as seen in the demo video.
