WordPress VIP Featured Partner Program

WordPress VIP Partner

On March 14, 2012, WordPress announced the launch of their VIP Featured Partner Program. This comes after Automattic launched VIP for Web Hosts last year and partnered with WPEngine to provide VIP Support for Web Hosts.

In November 2011 Automattic also participated in a round of funding for WP Engine’s managed WordPress hosting.  Other investors included Eric Ries, Joshua Baer, Loic Le Meur, and Dharmesh Shah and totaled $1.2 million.

 VIP support for webhosts

WordPress.com has partnered with these VIP services to provide a seamless integration with the WordPress platform — all services are certified and supported by the WordPress.com VIP team.

Hosting companies that participate in VIP Support for Web Hosts leverage the WordPress.com VIP team’s expertise to support their own WordPress environments.

From the WordPress VIP blog:

This morning we debuted a project that I’m really excited about—our new Featured Partner Program. Our WordPress.com VIP team is now working with select partners to integrate their services with WordPress, connect them with our VIP clients, and collaborate to support the integration and provide a seamless experience for our users.

  1. Hello Brad,

I just found the answers to my questions. I think it would be wise for me to choose WPEngine as my web host instead of Bluehost and Hostgator. Don’t you agree.

You know what, you are a great WordPress Teacher in the world. I learn a lot from you. I will keep coming back here. Thanks for sharing.

    Richie from Ohio

    1. Give them a try and let me know what you think Richie.

      Thanks

  2. Hello Brad,

I just want to let you know that I like your website and it is looking better than ever before. I printed out an ebook called WordPress Guide, Getting Started with WordPress from you. I read your stuffs when I get your email. I have read lot of ebooks about WordPress last year and this year.

You give me a lot of learning things that I never learn before? Always something new.

About WPEngine, is that a new web host same as Bluehost and Hostgator? If so, would it be better for all of us to move to WPEngine web host or wait and see how it goes?

Sooner or later, I will make my own WordPress website as a business.

Where are you located at? I’m from Ohio.

    Sincerely,
    Richie

    1. Hi Richie

WPEngine is a specialist host for WordPress only.

Its an option to consider if shared hosting is giving you problems because of the limits on resources.

WPEngine focuses on site speed and security and WordPress has partnered with them and invested $1.2m

If you need to upgrade your hosting account, i’d suggest you take a look at WPEngine as an alternative to a Pro shared account or VPS
